Langasite La3Ga5SiO14 (LGS) and Langatate La3Ga5.5Ta0.5O14 (LGT) crystals are grown by Chokhralski method. The obtained crystals are measuring up to 86 mm in diameter. They are used for manufacturing wafers with diameter of 76.2 mm in heat-steady cut direction.
The crystals are used for manufacturing of piezo-electronic components:
- monolithic filters;
- high frequency resonators;
- SAW-filters;
- piezo-sensors.
